Of all the venues in New York City, Cipriani 42nd Street is perhaps the most magnificent, with its soaring marble columns, 65-foot ceiling, gorgeous inlaid floors and stunning chandeliers. Inhabiting the once famed Bowery Building built in 1921, the breathtaking Italian Renaissance interior is a national and New York City landmark. Situated in the heart of midtown Manhattan’s theater district, the venue would be the perfect setting for Ashley & Neil’s incredible New York wedding. Among the many highlights was Neil’s baraat, which literally shut down 42nd Street. The event space for both the wedding and reception was beautifully decorated by Shobha Rao of Elegant Affairs, with design by Vikram Panicker, entertainment by DJ Suhel, Photography by Jay Seth Photography, and impeccable coordination by Vaishali Deshpande.
